i was referred to this surgery for a very minor op. I was impressed by how smoothly this surgery seems to operate from the welcome reception to the procedure (as I arrived very early I built up a good idea of the place). I noticed how many patients seemed to pass through and seemed to be quickly processed. Staff seemed to be efficiently moving around doing their valuable job.
I liked the screen calling patients but I was impressed straight away with Dr Warrilow who called me in and introduced himself and the nurses. I was immediately put at ease by his thorough explanation of the minor procedure. He was friendly and professional.
All in all it was a very satisfactory experience.
Thank you
Details of biopsy clearly explained in advance. Procedure expertly performed with great care. Doctor and nursing staff kind, helpful and professional. Made the whole experience as pleasant as it could be. Thank you.
My grandparents, parents and I have always used this surgery, but since they have allowed a larger area to attend i.e. Ashford residence, it is impossible to get an appointment. I have been trying to for 3 days now, calling after lunch, but never get through.
The reception staff, nurses and Doctors are all very helpful and professional, but the surgery can not cope with the amount of patience it has on its books.
I had a blood test this morning. As my veins are not good (normally I have to go to the William Harvey) I expected many attempts to obtain my blood. No such problem as the nurse was highly skilled and succeeded first time.
The practice has got too big and has lost the 'family feeling' that it had under Dr Lister. It is frustratingly difficult to get an appointment - impossible, in fact, without going through the annoying triage system. It feels like genuine patients in need are being penalised because of those who waste doctors' time.
